Ram Mount!

Something very cool arrived at Bill's doorstep late this week: A Ram Mounting Systems laptop mount. We are running in a class that allows us to use any calculating device as long as it isn't GPS, or hooked up to the truck's drivetrain. So, we will be using the laptop a lot to calculate our perfect arrival times during the rally.

The original plan was to hold the laptop on top of the lap. But, Ram came through with this very cool laptop mount. This thing is rock solid and easy to install. It's also very adjustable allowing us to put the laptop wherever we want.


Here, Bill demonstrates how the Ram Mount can also accommodate the truck's second steering wheel.


OK OK! That steering wheel isn't really hooked up. But, I bet we'd get some funny looks if we left it there!
